HOPE. HEALING. A NEW BEGINNING.

Your past is a chapter.
Not your
whole story.

Take back your life. Rewrite your story.
Recovery is possible—and you don't have to walk this road alone.

A place to feel understood. A place to begin again.

INSPIRE.EDUCATE.CONNECT.

Your addiction does not define you. Your past does not disqualify you.

A LITTLE LIGHT FOR TODAY

Your daily
dose of hope.

Pause. Take a breath. Let these words meet you where you are.

MERC YOUR ADDICTION • ORIGINAL REFLECTION

TODAY'S SMALL STEP

FIND THE WORDS YOU NEED

How are you feeling today?

There is room for all of it.
Choose what you're carrying.

ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THE JOURNEY

Read. Reflect. Keep going.

FROM THE MYA JOURNAL

PRACTICAL TOOLS. REAL-LIFE STEPS.

Build a recovery
you can live.

Free, printable reflection sheets.
Small practices you can return to.

Worksheets are for personal reflection and can support conversations with your care team. They do not replace professional treatment.

UNDERSTANDING MAKES ROOM FOR CHANGE

The recovery education center.

Clear ideas. Practical exercises.
No shame. No judgment.

Educational content informed by NIDA's treatment and recovery guidance. Your clinician can help you choose care that fits your needs.

ONE STEP.
ONE BREATH.
ONE DAY.

RECOVERY IN MOTION

Strengthen your body.
Strengthen your mind.

Movement can be a way to reconnect with yourself. Start where you are, choose what feels accessible, and let consistency grow over time.

YOUR SIMPLE DAILY RESET

01 · Move in a way that works for you—even a short walk.

02 · Make room for food, water, and rest.

03 · Check in with someone who supports your recovery.

04 · Notice one thing you did well today.

VOICES OF RECOVERY

Your story can be
someone else's hope.

You choose what to share.
You choose what stays private.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

“There is purpose
after the struggle.”

Merc Your Addiction is rooted in Evan Mercado's commitment to recovery, faith, daily effort, and helping others. This space exists to remind people that change is possible and that nobody should have to earn compassion.

FAITH, GRATITUDE & PURPOSE

“How can I be of service today?
Where am I needed?”

For those who find strength in faith, prayer and reflection can offer a meaningful daily anchor. Every background and recovery pathway is welcome here.

Begin with gratitude.

Name one gift in this day, however small.

Make space to listen.

Pause, pray, or reflect on the next honest step.

Put purpose into action.

Offer kindness. Reach out. Show up for someone.

YOU'RE NOT ALONE

Support is a step away.

You don't need all the answers
to ask for help.

FOR FAMILIES & LOVED ONES

Love them.
Care for yourself, too.

You can offer support without carrying everything alone. Your well-being matters.

How do I start a supportive conversation?

Choose a calm moment. Describe what you have noticed without labels or accusations. Ask, “What kind of support would feel helpful?” Listen, and offer to help explore professional care.

What does a healthy boundary sound like?

“I care about you. I can help you look for treatment. I cannot give you money when I believe it could put you at risk.” Make boundaries specific, realistic, and consistent.

Where can I find support for myself?

You deserve support, too. Explore Al-Anon, SMART Family & Friends, or a qualified counselor. Ask what options fit your circumstances.
